Chapter 1 General Article
Article 1 The Name
The name of the Foundation is Jooil(Lord First) Global Community Welfare Mission Foundation. The foundation is a public Foundation.
Article 2 The objects of The Foundation
The purpose of The Foundation is to obey our Lord Jesus Christ's command, "Love your neighbor" and thus to devote itself to minister to Koreans as well as the Global, community.
Article 3 The Registered Office
The registered Office of the Board of Directors of the Foundation is in Seoul, Korea And Dallas, USA.
Article 4 Missions Activities
The Foundation fulfill its objectives through the following missions
1. Social Welfare Missions (Ministering to the Elderly, People with Special Needs, Children, Widows, Handicaped, Prisoners, Refugees from North Korea, and International missionaries)
2. Christian Missions for Non-Christian Tribes and Countries

Jooil âTechnology
Jooil â highspeed steels can be applied not only to the entire mechanical industry, but also to aerospace, rapid electric train, steel equipment, automobile material industry, and fixtures which requires high thermal resistance and hardness. The Jooil â products from its early research center have been initially introduced to Japan, U.S. and Taiwan. The company has focused on developing the products that are demanded by them. As a result, it has developed a new process, so called precision casting method, which can eliminate rolling and forging steps that are normally required for improving the mechanical properties, toughness and hardness of the steel. This revolutionary method can not only reduce the manufacturing cost by half, but also the manufacturing time period.
I. The highspeed steels that Jooil â produces are characterized by (1) the homogeneity of its properties and (2) the reduced number of processes (accordingly, the reduced time period of the entire manufacturing).
II. Many prominent steel manufacturers have emphasized only one or two properties of their steel products among various important properties such as toughness, thermal resistance, shock resistance, and wear resistance. However, the highspeed steels that are produced by Jooil â technology do not only manifest excellence of each property regardless of the item, but also the heat treatment can be made very easily to the steel due to its low impurity, the homogeneity of its microstructure and the low deformation during the heat treatment.

II. Jooil has developed a know-how that amounts to the technologies that other forerunning steel makers have tested in space for eliminating impurities and reducing the deformation rate.
III. Jooil's highspeed steel has a wider range of applications: large-size casting products, precision machine, benches, mini bearings and pistons, drills, end mills, saw tools, highspeed steel products by casting method.
