Biography

I like old vacuam tube radios, mostly Pre war AC Radios, battery sets are pretty cool too along with very early vacuam tubes ,if you are lucky to find with great emmission. Also am into older tube type test equipment, like to play with my scope, signal generator, and frequency counter.Haven't been restoring radios lately.

I also am a Huge pyrotechnics fan. From the compent fuel mixtures, and effects to professional shows.Made a few neat items When I had the room&woods to play in.:(

I went to Ohio University for 2 years.(no degree=Big Mistake!) Also went to Hickok Technical institute for a condensed 12 month electronics tech course, equivalent to an assoc. degree. My interest fixing old radios happened 10 years later while getting into going to garage & estate sales.Went to Hickok in 1983-1984. Learned alot there.,enough to not be afraid to tackle fixing anything electronic, thop I prefer to fix tube type equipment.

I got into sales after 2 years at OU,proceeding to work for a couple large national companies, such as "Kahns", as a Food Service Sales Manager for Cleveland. Kind of got tired of sales, and became a union building trades laborer,I did that for 13 years before falling on a job and tearing up my knees, and back,so that was the end of that line of work!Very Unfortunate, because I not only got to participate in carrying out the engineered plans, but also to see th engineering prospects of large buildings.

So I miss that work, always had alot of laughs also.

I would make an excellent electronic tech for some large or small company, either analog,or digital troubleshhoting.

Well, there it is,almost my whole life story.
