I am a versatile mechanical designer with experience in Computer Aided Design; manufacturing and quality engineering; and as a mechanical and electronic technician.

I would love a position wherein I can create non-analytical mechanical designs of new and existing products.

I strive for designs that are robust and yet easy to manufacture, assemble and verify. I aim to follow the principles of DFX (Design for Excellence).

My strengths include designing and improving parts, assemblies & mechanical systems employing various 3D CAD systems; Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing; writing technical papers and reports; hands on mechanical and electronic prototype building and quickly learning new CAD systems. My CAD experience include: Solid Edge, NX5, Alibre, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ProE, Catia.

I have Created over 450 FAA certified aircraft parts, assemblies and systems for the innovative Adam A500 aircraft. Produced over 100 pre-production manufacturing instructions, saving hundreds of hours in the proof-of-manufacturing prototype military semi-trailer. Identified problematic areas of the composite fabrication shop, saving over 1800 hours in Lay-up time and resulting in over $100,000 savings per aircraft. Designed the mechanical components of a prototype electronic accelerator and brake module enabling the customer to demonstrate a new product in record time and wining the contract.
