Ph.D. physicist specialized in optics currently working in renewable energies. My wife and I run an Artisan bakery serving restaurants and many vineyards and stores in the near-by wine country (She is the chef, I am more involved in facilities; building and infrastructure design altho I am not formally trained in either.)
I'm an avid fan of bicycles and other human powered vehicles (HPV).
I think open-source is the future and avoid patents like the plague.
