Ø CLASS ROOM TRAINING ASSESSMENT: 1ST POSITION
 Operational training, operational knowledge of Gas Turbine systems including fuel gas and fuel oil forwarding and injection systems, Ignition system, Lube oil supply system, starting and shutdown of Gas Turbine and their load management etc.
Knowledge of Gas Turbine alarm and trip limits of different operational parameters and there functional criticality in the appropriate operation of Gas Turbine.
Knowledge of the ST cycles including LP cycle, HP cycle, condensate and steam cycles and cooling systems etc; starting and shutdown of ST and it's coupling with GT as combined cycle.
Knowledge of the Alarm and Trip limits and there functional criticality in the appropriate operation of combined cycle unit.
Ø OPERATIONAL TRAINING
Tracing of all systems, making of log sheets of GT and ST, taking all operational parameters by hand
Making report on the performance of the unit based on the operational characteristics written over log sheet.
Tracing of the fault in case of abnormality detected.
Starting and shutdown of the Gas Turbine and then coupling of the ST as a combined cycle unit.
Ø MAINTAINENCE TRAINING
Done routine, breakdown and planned maintenance of the Block-1(SIEMENS COMBINED CYCLE UNIT and ALSTOM CCPP).
Inspection of the air breathing system of Generator, Carbon brushes, Breather and oil of the Transformer and Circuit Breaker etc.
Done high voltage test, Wedge test, Elcid test, Meggering test, Loop resistance test, Impedance test of DC batteries, Chronographic test, Slipring test, PI Test, DC high voltage test of different high voltage equipments during planned outage.
Work on the PROTECTION TESTING of Generator/Transformer, HV/LV bus bars, HV/LV Motors and LV Transformer and interlocks of HV/LV circuit breaker and Disconnector.
Tracing of the electrical fault through wiring diagram in case of abnormal electrical operation.
Done all the routine maintenance/scheduled overhauling in accordance with the in-depth knowledge of IEC Standard and recommendations by the OEM.
Attended complete overhauling of ERCOLEMARELLI NUOVA EMG GENERATOR with the fact-finding inspection of Generator and Power Transformer.
Attended and supervise the whole procedure of dragging out/dragging in of the Generator Rotor.
Have been involved in the calibration of different field instruments like Pressure, Temperature and level transmitters/switches and gauges.
Worked with the distribution control system of Block-1(ISKAMETIC/SPEEDTRONIC) and the wired logics of the FIAT GAS TURBINES.
Have the hands on experience of working on PLC installed at different systems of Block-1.
Internship Four-week internship at Pakistan Steel Mills, Karachi.
Visited the Thermal Power Plant comprising of three 55 MVA, 11 kV generators supplying power to the steel mills as well as to the KESC, the Power Distribution Network which is responsible for the distribution of electric power to different parts of the mills and maintenance of the entire electrical network of the mills, and the Engineering Lab which is responsible for the testing of electrical equipment.

Project This project was acquired from the KESC PROTECTION SECTION includes the simulation of the fault and the protection scheme specified for each type of fault. As a team leader I led this project to completion, discussing and simulating the protections in the case of adverse faults effected ac machines and during normal working conditions.
