Synopsis

Currently employed as one of the Resident Engineers on the Yas Island Development, Abu Dhabi responsible for site supervision of a 1km long cut and cover tunnel and a 60-metre span Warren truss girder hotel access bridge crossing a F1 circuit.

Recently employed as Senior Foundation Engineer for the Karnaphuli Third Crossing in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The 950m long cable-stayed structure comprises 4x200m span extradosed main bridge with an approach viaduct at the north end. Foundations are 1.5m and 3.0m dia cast in-situ piles.

Previous work overseas has included Resident Representative for the Sri Lanka Bridge Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project, Senior Structural Engineer for the Indus Highway Project, Structural Engineer (QA/QC) with an international contractor for the Yongjong Bridge, Incheon, Korea. Resident Engineer, for the assembly of the suspended structure for the Tsing Ma Suspension Bridge, Hong Kong. Also, as Structures Engineer on the Gerede-Ankara Motorway, Turkey, undertaking design review and supervision of major steel box girder bridges, concrete viaducts, interchange structures and box culverts.
