I culture black soldier fly larvae which are super efficient at processing food scraps and manure. When the larvae mature they no longer eat but are are exceptional source of nutrition and are eagerly eaten by most poultry, herps, fish and many mammals. BSF are not vectors of human disease and do not pester people.
