Good, quality communication is one of my greatest interests. I like seeing messages, information, etc presented well.

I also have ideas for machines to help mankind. My father was a very good mechanical engineer. He designed and built very good machines. While I am not a mechanical engineer, I still have what I believe are sound ideas for machines that help.

I first came to this site to see if I could get useful info regarding friction and friction elements. Like several other members, I'm looking for a machine that through friction generates enough heat for useful purposes.

I also have an idea about a different design for a fire fighting ladder truck. My design gives fire fighters extra options that standard ladder trucks and even 'cherry picker' designs don't. It's a radical but feasible design.
