I got my first model rocket in about the third grade. it was powered by baking soda and vinegar. I have since fallen in and out of interest with rockets and RC flying things.
I have a good, or at least interesting story to tell. I was in an interested in rockets period, back in the late 80s. I and a friend were launching rockets in a park in Allen Tx. a town up by Dallas. There were several other people there flying airplanes at the same time we were launching our rocket. Anyway, we launched and an RC plane flew over at the same time. Yes! we shot it down. I promice, it did happen. Have any of you others had simular experences?
