I am Chairman of Nova Media Inc., which has been in existence since 1981. We publish art prints and various social concern publications listed under my name (Thomas J. Rundquist) on amazon and also seen on http://www.novamediainc.com

In the computer area I was a accounting computer salesman for Burroughs in 1969, which is now Unisys. At that time a number of us just learning Cobol and Fortran saw the Y2K problem the first day of our instruction. However talking to our zone manager and eventually talking to the CEO/President about this problem with dates up to 2000, was answered by "These computers and this software will not be in existence by the year 2000." I wonder if the corporation had taken a number of our suggestions where they would be today. Note that Apple took care of Y2K right from their beginning.

Later we started our first commercial domain http://www.nov.com in 1994 and in 2005 sold it to an oil and gas corp that had NOV as their new New York Stock Exchange Ticker. As their stock at the time was about $24 a share and now I believe is around $100, I wish we had gotten stock in exchange instead of a check. Also this is a good example of how they promote their stock by having the NOV.com easily found and I suggest other public corp's do the same. Note I was a Registered Rep. (NASD) selling securities for First Investors Corp back in graduate school in the late 1960's.

We also had a computer repair business that handled a Staples Repair Depot for most of Central Michigan. We also handled USNET Warranty service and others. While I was not a technician, I was able to hire them and put together the contracts for Nova Media Inc., which was incorporated 1981 Michigan. Note that we have listings on 2 venture capital sites: www.fundingpost.com and www.vcaonline.com Entrepreneur 632 ( Nova Counseling Associates Inc.). We will have a quarter page ad in www.fundingpost.com's Venture Magazine in December 2007 about our Heavenly Gold Card dealership, which is on Franchise Annual and Business Opportunities magazine.We also were in Entrepreneur Magazine's Management Smarts May 1997 for our Cultural Diversity Test.

Note that my art print Kundalini won the right to represent Central Michigan in a 2year show going to various locations in Michigan for 30 days each. This show started this month of October 2007. This print was selected as a "Promising Print" by Art Business News in the 1/2003 edition. Note they are sent to art professionals in publishing, galleries, colleges and fine artists to the tone of 33,000 people or more. Art comes naturally to me as it did to my Aunt and Grandfather who were both good artists in Indiana and Michigan.
