If you are transferring grease through a pipe, is there a way to know if the flow has stopped? Is there a way to initiate an alarm?

Grease Flow Switch

10/18/2005 1:37 PM

Mr. Youssef: I believe that there are commercial flow switches that will work with grease and can be set to initiate an alarm at low-flow or no-flow conditions. Here is one such product that may help: http://www.processingtalk.com/news/wen/wen100.html I think that you specific application would be useful to this or any other flow sensor manufacturer. I found this one by searching on "grease flow switch" on the Engineering Web on Globspec. Please check it out and let me know if you have any luck. Joe
