landing gear project

I am looking for a project on landing gear design and analysis.Could anyone suggest me a simple project on thos topic or let me know where i could get information on this on the web.

I have a landing gear project that needs designed, it's for an ultralight gyrocopter. I have the basic dimensions and layout,but need the loads and mechanics finalized. Also I have a car project that needs the same engineering done.

I have two books "Light Airplane Design" (Pazmany) and "Elements of Sport Airplane Design" (P.E.Bird) that provide some rules of thumb, etc. A web search might turn up sources for these. These are both focused on very small planes (1-4 seat).
