Check this!

Then check the source maybe something there:

"Turkey Red Oil - A defoaming & wetting agent". Porwal.net. Retrieved 2014-08-09.

Ideally, 0% sulphuric acid.

Sulphonation is normally accomplished using either sulphur trioxide or oleum (fuming sulfuric acid, which is an excess of sulphur trioxide dissolved in sulfuric acid). Often the reaction tends to produce rather than consume the acid, depending on materials and process variations. There are other options as well, such as chlorosulphonic acid but this isn't something that an internet forum will make you an expert on. And sorry, but don't know anything about the relevant analysis procedure for sulphonated castor oil.
