"Nvidia, a company known predominantly for its graphics card business, has over the last few years been making a big push toward automotive. More specifically, Nvidia wants to power the future slate of self-driving cars. Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang announced a "supercomputer" for self-driving cars and laid out his plans for the company's place in transportation. Haven't made it to CES yet, my area of employ doesn't justify it. Rather I am relegated to shows like:

  • CONEXPO (Construction)
  • ISC (International Security Conference)
  • OTC (Offshore Technology Conference)
  • FABTECH (Metals Fabricating)
  • IMTS (international Manufacturing Technology Show)

But, personally I'm eventually going to get to: CES, E3, ComicCon, and IWF (Woodworking) one of these years.

I was the "keynote" speaker for the Association of Loudspeaker Manufacturing and Acoustics International conference at CES one year. Early 90's as I recall. I spoke at both LV and Chicago shows that year. It was quite an honor.

Active noise and vibration cancellation was all the rage at that time.

I am a legend in my own mind.
