Get in line. I'm already having one of those days.

I just sent an e-mail reply that included their e-mail showing I built what they asked for over my objections that it wouldn't work. I'm actually getting criticized for being correct.

"A bitumen emulsion consists of three basic components:

  • Bitumen
  • Water
  • Emulsifying agent.

The emulsifying agent is usually a soap or surfactant. These surfactants are normally classified as either cationic or anionic, according to their electrical charge.

The surfactant surrounds individual bitumen droplets, separating them using the basic laws of electricity - like charges repel and unlike charges attract."
