Coolpad Arise and Scratch Wireless Hack?

It's interesting that the "free" ads are still running months after Scratch reneged on their deal.

Hard to justify charging for voice-over-wifi. That doesn't use anyone's network and costs Scratch nothing.

Lock, I need to warn anyone who may wander onto this thread and think "gee, I should try one of those Coolpads!" As a smartphone, it makes a good paperweight. I think they found a box of Intel 4004 microprocessors (circa 1971) and figgered no one would know the difference. Speed? The solitaire game can't keep up with my finger. Reliability? The Coolpad slows and stops at random. The camera takes very artsy fuzzy pics. The battery is good for 30 minutes. And it is a dandy hand warmer; I could sit my coffee cup on it to stay hot. At $80, I figger it is overpriced by, oh, $80.
