I am a project manager in automotive glass company and we temper glass. I will talk to some of the process engineers tomorrow and see if they are aware of such a calculation. I have personally expirenced laying a tempered bent 24" x 24" x 4mm glass down on the floor and being able to jump up and down on it without breaking it. Are you looking for static or dynamic pressures/loads?? any inertias (if dynamic)?

Dear RD, Thanks for your reply. Actually I am talking about TOUGHENED / TEMPERED GLASSES of varying thickness like 10, 12, 15, 19 mm etc which ae used in various industries like Chemcial, Petrochemcial, Fertilizer etc wherein many other factors like temperature, media etc play a VITAL role in the pressure withstanding capacity of a glass which unlike Automobile Glasses are not always working under ambient temperature. Anyways, I am sincerely awaiting your reply. Thanks for the information provided and in the meantime take this opportunity to reqauest yoru good self for your contact details. An early reply will be highly appreciated. Best Regards Rasesh Vakil C.E.O.
