Testing a H2S Liquid Scavenger

08/02/2007 1:33 AM

We would like to test the newly developed H2S scavenger liquid for its quality parameters like 1. H2S absorbtion capacity 2. Temperature stability 3. Shelf life 4. Corrosion charecteristics 5. Reaction products after scavenging H2S and its environmental impacts (Bio assay)etc. Any reputed laboratory willing to take this tests?

I'm not sure that I understand your question. Are you looking for a testing service for a product that you've developed? If so, we can help you find one - but they probably won't work for free.

Jakir, I just Googled "chemical testing laboratories" and Google came up with 15,900,000 hits which might indicate there may be an abundance of chemical testing and chemical processing laboratories from which you can choose.

Are you forbidden to use the Internet and Google in your country?

One thing you might take note, of the 15,900,000 chemical analytical labs online, about 15,800,000 are not going to have the capacity to run non-standard testing. In the US would consist primarily of typical EPA specified inorganic and organics methods, State methods and Wastewater methods. some of the testing that you are requesting is beyond the scope of service offered by the majority of labs. They typically deal in specific chemical analysis of water or soil, some deal in materials dissolved in organics, and even fewer deal with other solvents. What you need is a testing consultant or high-end testing laboratory. I have dealt with some of these, but they were always subsidiaries associated with the petroleum or pesticide industry client to whom we provided engineering services. I would start locally, however, and see if any local labs can help you up the food chain.

Regretfully I am no help with the test facility, but sure as heck would have an outlet with local Shire councils for the use of your product along with scrubbers for the removal of H2S odours from sewerage pump stations
