Help for Relay Setting

Hi,

just need general help , that why these values required for Relay setting like, Say Distance relay , and if line is under construction then, is there any way to find out that,?

Positive +Ve sequence Impedance of Line

Zero Sequence Impedance of Line

This is not the practical ,

Yes , i already read it, but its need so much complex calculations, what is the common professional way less academic way, now day using, like software with hardware relationship , or some kind of tests , ?

The "common professional way", is to do the calculations! How you do the calculations is up to you and your abilities. There once was a time when "we" actually calculated things like Fast Fourier Transforms! The came computers...

The came computers... Which produces laziness and the unwillingness to do math calculations their own anymore. What would a guy nowadays do if they had to use a slide rule?

Here's a suggestion for you, find another line of work. Your in over your head.

If your to lazy to do understand the calculations, nobody here is going to do your homework for you. As far as software programs, the output of information is going to be as good as the information input, so essence you do not understand basic foundation of relay protection.

And a danger to society and the national grid
