Get rid of the micropilot M and get an ultrasonic level sensor.

Thank you but the ultrasonic structure and principle is just almost same as the micropilot radar. they are both non contacting and uses time of flight. i will be glad to know the difference and advantages of ultrasonic over radar. Both does same i think. this is ok with other liquids but pitch fumes affects effective measurement here

You could put the tank on weigh cells instead.

Good answer. We use load cells for those "dificult" things like powdered lime where the contents may not even be level within the container as it empties.
