New Kitchen Gadget for One-Armed People

10/10/2016 11:04 AM

What impresses me about this story is that a university student designed the gadget for people who have only one arm, whether due to amputation or a stroke. I've read that Millennials have a strong interest in service to others; this invention could be a piece of evidence that demonstrates this interest. Students who are looking for a project might take this student's approach and focus on an underserved population.

I'm going to call foul on the picture.

She had time to put on make-up, brush her hair, AND get dressed.

Will also be great for those people who are afraid to let go of their mobile phone.

I give up. What-the-heck is "Mashable"? What's the "story"? All I get is a page full of links on the left side, NONE of which are "allowed" by our "Safe-web-filter"...

Bummer! Try these links or search for "Loren Lim" and "Oneware":

http://www.did.nus.edu.sg/gradshows/2016/19_loren.html; http://www.core77.com/posts/56684/

Mashable in its own words:

Mashable is a global, multi-platform media and entertainment company. Powered by its own proprietary technology, Mashable is the go-to source for tech, digital culture and entertainment content for its dedicated and influential audience around the globe.

Content is aimed at millennials; I monitor it to get a different perspective

"Ahhhhh" ... (!) and . . . "hmmmm" . . .

Opportunity for a 1st : strategically-placed "Subset" [over there,⇒ at top]

... Can you see it...?

Or , is there already a well-established place for engineers, retired engineers, and wanna-be engineers, to help in every way possible, all of the Bethanys, Nick Vujicics and other deserving inspirational souls out there...? {2 links needed for Nick!^}
