At first I thought an LED array, then maybe solar cells, but I remembered seeing something similar to this but just the frame. Is this a battery pack from a Tesla?

Edit :

Here is that pic, and yes, it is a Tesla battery pack.

How much does this weigh compared to a tank of gas...?

16.9 gallons (64 liters) of fuel - so full tank = 106.5 lbs.+ tank~ 20 lbs = ~127 lbs

85 kWh battery pack weighs ~1,200 lb

The Tesla S at ~4600 lbs is not light....compared to a Corvette ~3400 lbs

I believe the size change was to prevent further fires.

the fires were attributed to both heat during normal operation as well as the materials being used in the construction of the old cells. the BMS has been upgraded to keep the pack happy under all expected operating conditions. I believe the new cell includes aluminum as well as Cobalt to reduce the fire potential. straight lithium Ion chemistry seems to have been the culprit in laptop, phone and Tesla fires.

Am I pissed?

European Patent Office stole an invention of mine with the statement that 'As there are no technical impediments to its' implementation, it is therefore not unobvious'

Can anybody tell me how that would not apply to the above drawing?

the details you provide do not give enough information to know why you may or may not be pissed.

My invention is irrelevant to the question.

As a test of patentability, it should apply to all inventions - notwithstanding presumably different jurisdictions -
