What does the manufacturer's manual say about it?

Replace the sensor and flush the trany erase the code if it comes back you will pretty well know the trany is going south on you and time to trade up. Good luck.

The Turbo-charger speed pickup is most likely to be the culprit.

The problem started when the lock-nuts become loose, and the sensor shift its position. The proximity between the sensor tip and the magnets is only about 3 mm. The worst case is the magnets hitting the sensor tip, which has coils of fine copper wires embedded in a plastic mold.

The magnets if knocked out of shape or misplaced need to be replaced, and the entire turbo-charger balanced. To this extent, it will be better to get a new turbo-charger.

OBE Code reader has to be verified, but a physical check at the turbocharger can easily tell if this is reading correctly.
