STL Translation Service

08/28/2007 12:27 PM

Hello folks,

I am looking for someone with the proper software to convert some STL files to STEP format. Can any of you help? There are aproximately 30 files ranging in size from 1Mb to 100Mb.

Thanks

Don't know what type of cad you have if any. I believe solidworks could do that. I would tell you for sure but I left my laptop at home. (i miss it)

I have Solid Works and the STL opens as STL Graphics only...no usable data.

I have tried TransMagic to no avail It can not convert the STL to solid geometry.

I think GeoMagic or Delcam PS Exchange might work.

There is a thing called VARYVIEW out there that I think will do that.

Try CNET, I think they got it there.
