I have been using AutoCAD Land Developers Desktop 2005. There were no cross-sections stored in the libuary. To create a section you must first create a surface. Then export that surface. When you use the profiles comand you can import this surface at specific offsets ie every 50ft or any stationing you want. It is a pain in the backside because I have to recalculate superelevation runoff for all horivontal curves. If you have the newer version of AutoCAD I believe in the horizontal curve menu you can link with speed tables from AASHTO and the superelevation can be adjusted for you. If you are still looking for answers I will go thru the procedure and give you a step by step but again I use 2005 LDD.

Dear,

I have just used the 2005 LDD, and I think that the problem you mention is very interesting! Could you please show me the detailed procedure for the cross-sections.

Besides, i think that we should find a good way to export the results to MS word or MS Excel, with VBA, do you think so? And how to do it?

If possible, i would like to receive your mail via mine: lequanghuan84@gmail.com

Thank you very much!

Best regards!

You need to be more specifc. I've been designing highways for 30 years. What do you mean by cross section tables? Speed super elevation tables? Tables used for design are one thing. Cad drawings of typical sections are another. Cad drawings of cross sections are site specific and you are on your own for those.
