Couch Table Alternative Top Attachment Complete

So I ended up using carriage bolts and 3/4" x3" x 6" pine boards as the base to attach the mounting brackets...I started by countersinking the bolt heads with a forstner bit and hammering the bolt head in to accommodate the square part of the lower head, then spreading PC 7 under the large flat surface of the carriage bolt heads....I tightened the brackets down to seat and hold the bolts straight and in place....let them dry overnight, and attached the boards to the table top with a generous slathering of more PC 7 the next day...

I am pleased with the results...just need to attach the skids on the feet...
