Annoyingly, The Future Keeps Coming

02/06/2018 12:28 PM

Now this is a novel Idea.

And not to be outdone...

Now, if he could just figure out how to build cars. Who knew landing rockets on boats would be the easy one?

Although Elon Musk will have a car to drive when he gets to mars. What a thing to do with your prototype.

Reminds me of the opening of the old movie Heavy Metal.

Significant savings on energy bill for participating customers? It sounds like renting your roof top and such for what may be $50 a month savings? (Guess)

That would be annoying.. especially when you have to put up with the extra work for maintenance.. or at tear off.

I hope I read that wrong.

Much more than $50 dollars savings:

Australia pays some of the highest electricity costs in the world.

Interesting plan:

first kill reliable power in South Australia.

Install unreliable wind and solar power.

raise energy costs

tell everyone this is a problem that can be fixed by

installing batteries and more solar.

More Power for Tesla but not from Tesla!

Yeah.

If there is no problems we create them and then we can fix them!

Be careful. That is how the legal profession sustains itself. When the run out of work, they introduce new legislation.

At a guess: Musk has his battery Gigafactory to build. The contract with the Aussie guv will infuse that project with money, which will (in the long run) give him the manufacturing capability for his cars.
