Do you just want to trim the flash, or do you want tohave a machined or sanded fniish to the product? What is the material, and what is the volume. What kind of tolerance do you need to hold? is it just a rectangular part, oris it complex? how much do you expect to invest in the process. Are you in an area where the labor is low cost or high cost? All of the factors are important to your decision.

Your solutin could be a die to shear the flash, or a programmable machine such as an NC router using either carbide cutters or abrasives to finish the perimiter of the part.
