how to use tapper lock bushes

hi ,

this is aman from india, student of mechanical engineering pls tell me that how i use a tapper bush for sprocket & shaft

The "trick" is to make sure you watch tolerances, surface finishes, and torque limits.

if yr sprocket is dia 120 & yr shaft is 25 mm , u can use fenner taperlock no - 1610 having dia 65 mm X 30 long.

for that u have to make the sprocket also suitable for 1610 bush. means u make taper hole in sprocket + two threading to lock + one hole to open the bush.
