digital read outs

Have a few machines with Quality digital read outs ( USA brand & manufacture ) ... does anyone know of anyone that repairs same. Bad name to do a search on as every one makes a quality read outs. Batt

You can try Flight Systems they repair many different types of controls.

Actually, if you are using a LCD and it is only the LCD that has become corrupt, you should be able to contact the OEM and just simply buy a new LCD. These view ports have a ribbon cable with a thin nine pin plug. If it is your unit overall, they are built as a trow-a-way unit, the boards are hermetically sealed and coated. Once the boards are sealed, there is no possible way of repairing the driver/ componant board for upgrades. If your digi-readout was hit by an electrical surge, for get it and find a new or used item to replace the digi-read out. Sorry for the cloud of dispair, Maximo

These are very simple electronics as I understand. What are they reading from?
