	Where can I find building codes on HVAC? Is ASHRAE the correct one?

	ASHRAE has developed standards which are referenced by nearly all local building codes for the design and installation of HVAC systems. You should check your local building code to determine the exact standards used.

	Refer to the International Mechanical Codes. Part of the International Building Code. I believe NFPA has a competing code, more Union friendly, that California has adapted.
