Sanitary Double Tube Heat Exchanger Stainless Steel 316 L Needed

09/18/2007 1:06 PM

I have a client in the Mid East looking for a sanitary standard heat exchanger, the information supplied is:

"Sanitary double tube heat exchanger Stainless steel 316 L with the following specification:

- The heat exchanger will be used to cool down distilled water from temperature of 90 oC to 15 oC with a flow rate of 60 liter per hour, inlet and outlet connection are 1 inch try clamps.

- The cooling media is child water ( inlet temperature= 8 oC, max. outlet temperature= 13 oC).

-The heat exchanger must be isolated and cladded with a 304 Stainless steel cladding."

Anybody know of a quality assured supplier in the UK or Europe?

You may want to consider a flat plate heat exchanger. They are available in double-walled construction as well.

Check out the DW series.
