Bonding Chrome Plating to Zinc Die Cast and Aluninum Die Cast

Zinc tasts like Lizard Dung, I would not use that.

Aluminum causes Memory loss sounds bad to me.

Chrome Plating will come off in the first few uses, so why use it.

A baked on Ceramic coating is pretty good

Stanless Steel works just fine

Just plain steel is OK also

A rule of thumb, do not use things that will not take the heat

Do not use things that tast bad.

Do use things that are easy to clean up.

Chrome plating is given for Zn die casting as Al has its own oxide coating may not need chrome plating

Vitreous enamel is good if the part is not too thin.

Is this part going to be used in the flames? I hadn't really thought of this before but we had a fire recently in the equipment store used for my spare time job staging firework displays. An 8ft long aluminium spar used for Catherine wheels completely melted leaving just a few blobs of solidified metal. The fire was mainly burning timber, I imagine that charcoal burns hotter.
