I want to know what is inside LM 7805 & how it regulates the voltage

7805, 79-05 is noly a linear amplifier inside a adjust voltage output through changing resistance of transistor. you neednt know too much inside . you should know, its max input v is 45V and output is +-5v. and there are different power pachge outline.
