Defining a BH Loop in Ansys Maxwell?

12/12/2018 11:23 PM

Does anyone have an idea how to insert a BH loop like the one I have attached in Ansys Maxwell and not get an error like in the other picture which is also attached?

I have seen it multiple times in different texts but can't define one myself without getting this annoying error. Also the data that I have inserted does not start from (0,0) but don't worry about that because the error would show up either way. any experience with this?

I can't see what the error is, but would guess that the file is not compatible....It's like you're trying to paste the answer into a calculator...

Dear SolarEagle,

The error says the value of H must increase along the axis which translates as there only can be one value of B for each value of H, however in the first image that I have attached, it seems that there must be a way to define such a loop also.

One more thing, it appears the plot is drawn in three colors, three different colors for the three part of the loop.( from zero to positively saturated, from positive to negative and from negative to positive again)

cordially,

Omid

Dear SolarEagle,

I could not see the pertinence of that link to defining BH loop in maxwell problem, if I am missing a point please do tell.

Cordially,

Omid
