Welding Super Alloy with Carbon Steel

Dear Sirs,

We have to weld two solid shafts, each of ~ 250 mm diameter. The shaft materials are IN 713 [Super alloy] & Carbon Steel respectively. Operating temperature of the joint shall be ~ 3000 C.

Please help to suggest the best possible welding technique & welding consumable to make the joint.

Deposit 3 or 4 layers of hi nickel welding consumable ( wire for Tig , electrode for SMaW) on carbon shaft side).

first layer grind to leave thin depisit. on this layer deposit second layer- grind, third layer or fourth layer will give you high Ni deposit

t hesame as NI alloy. prpare bevel and weld w Ni alloy consumable. keep in your mind that termal expension of Ni and cs are different. pls double check! expect cracks on
