Commissioning Offshore Pipelines

10/08/2007 10:12 AM

Dear Sirs,

I am requesting any suggestions/comments you may have in regards to equipment that will help full"fill" the following parameters in commissioning offshore pipelines. (Links appreciated)

Flood Pump (horizontal or verticle?) for an offshore 12.5 Mile 10" .562WT CS Pipe, 750 GPM delivery through 2" connection - Sea water velocity 0.90m per second. Requirement to push pipeline inspection gauges with anywhere from 100 to 600m slugs apart.

High Pressure Pump 5000psi for Hydrotest of the same line through a 2" delivery connection into armored hose connected to pipeline test header. Must be adjustable on min .05 bar intervals.

Chemical Injection Pump 500 GPM used to inject a premix of biocide and corrosion inhibitor in a controlled and continuous dosage, approved dosage levels are dependent on product used. (i.e. 195 ppm, 625 ppm)

Jaberwalkee,

Try the following companies:-

BJ Process & Pipeline Services Ltd (www.bjservices.com)

Halliburton (www.halliburton.com)

PSL Energy Services Ltd (www.psles.com)

Qserv Ltd (www.qserv.com)

They all provide the range of services you are looking for and although based in Aberdeen I'm sure they have offices in Houston.

Best Regards

Wilden
