After a little digging I found out that the KK stood for the company name - Krautkramer. Here are some results from GlobalSpec's Engineering Web. You get much better results searching for Krautkramer USK 7S than you do searching for KK USK 7S. The first result is for a company selling three of them between $2900 and $3900. If you going down a little further in the results you will find AIP Inc., and they have one for $1700.

I'm not sure that either has the probe you're looking for.

Hope this helps.

I'm curious as all get out... why is your instrument requirement so specific to these??

I have a KB (Krautkramer Branson) USK 7S as well as a USK 7B ... the older analog units ... in addition to our newer (digital) USN50, the "hybrid" USD10, and even some newer Sonatest equipment in our equipment arsenal. And, for a fair price would sell the older units to use as downpayments towards newer units.

Given the amount of research necessary to prepare a proper (written) Procedure for any given inspection, I am assuming by your transducer spec that you have done this already. Can you share the "purpose" to which this equipment needs to be applied?

Regards ~

One of the reasons we use them is that they have the crt screen. Some of the digitals are OK but the CRT is superior
