How to Determine the Data Given

05/12/2019 2:30 PM

Good day community. I am recently having some difficulty differentiating between determining what parameters i'm supplied with.

i'm not sure if the data given is that of phase voltage or line voltage or phase current or line current.

"e.g A 3phase 400KVA, 440V, 60Hz generator has synchronous impedance made up of armature resistance 0.01Ω/ph, and synchronous reactance of 0.05Ω/ph.

calculate (a) full load current, (b) EMF when supplying full load @0.8pf lag (c) Regulation at full load 0.8 pf lag."

how do i determine the parameters given and what formulas to use.
