Zerk fitting adapter

01/13/2006 11:18 AM

I'm trying to locate a zerk fitting adapter that is 1/8npt female down to 1/4-28 male straight line. I've been able to find both 45 and 90 deg in this size configuration but not straight!

I've tried Mcmaster-carr,MSC,Grainger etc with no luck. Lawson has the right size adapters in 45 and 90 deg only. I've verified the thread size by trying these 2 types for our application.

Zerk adapter

Are you looking for and adapter or the actual zerk fitting? As someone else noted here, metric Zerk fittings are also made and easily confused with Imperial ones. Standard brass fittings, such as those made by Weatherford and others are readily available. Have you tried (large) automotive parts outlets and jobbers?
