Can Anybody Help Me in Finding an Affordable Geiger Counter?

I am in my sophomore year, and I am quite frankly broke. But I am fascinated by Geiger counters, I found two other friends who also wanted to buy a geiger counter but couldn't due to the price.

So I would like to know if there are any functional GM counters for a reasonable price? We all combined have around 300$. Thanks for your time.

Yes you can buy a decent one at that price. I can come up with a couple of device at that price mark.

But I found a blog post about the Geiger counters for sale with price and features and all. I have and currently use Radex RD1503+ which is one of their top picks. It retails at a little more than half your budget which I think would be a nice deal, if you ask me.
