i want to know the difference between vacuum and absolute vacuum

where we will use vacuum and absolute vacuum

plz make me understand by giving simple examples

A common mistake is to think that an absolute vacuum will creat vast amounts of negative pressure. You can only ever achieve zero...the pressure on the outside is atmospheric pressure... you can never get more 'suck' than that.

Therefore in many common applications an absolute vacuum is pointless. In some hi tech applications or R&D it may be necessary to get a good hard vacuum, say in the semiconductor industry? Or for vacuum deposition.
