Are you asking to see them in production for reference purposes, or are you asking where can you purchase them?

I am asking where you can purchase them. We are using a style now that works real well but they are getting old and worn out. These particular flange blank outs were made from casted aluminum, so I know that someone makes them somewhere. They are a blank out that slides onto the flange and are tightened up with a t-handle that has a claw that fits behind the flange itself. No tools are needed, hand tight is all that is required for a 5 minute water test @80-85psi to test seal and casting integrity. I have looked everywhere for these and cannot find them anywhere.

What sizes?

How long do you need to test for?

The 1st step to decrease the time spent installing blank flanges is have o-ring grooves cut in your flanges. the grooves should be undersized so the o-rings will not fall out during installation/removal.

Here is a picture of what I am looking for. It took me a minute to figure it out. I hope I did it right? Does anyone recognize this?

Jarunmagnet,

We have made them in our own facility, but the time it takes from a production machine is to costly. I figure if you can buy them somewhere it would be nice. certainly machining them is an option, but I am exploring all options. We use these for a production leak test on our pumps. We clamp them on the discharge and suction for a 5 minute leak test @80-85psi to insure that the pump casting and the seal does not leak. Then they go to paint.
