Wow, you're looking for a lot and not providing very much information to allow anyone to help you find it. Let's see about clarifying your questions a bit before we move forward:

  1. I want a detail description of a vehicle structure - What type of vehicle are you interested in car, plane, boat, train, AGV, ATV, lunar lander? Trust me, knowing this matters to folks who would like to help you.
  2. Differentiated from other structure - What types of structures are we talking about / comparing the "vehicle" to? Buildings? cells?
  3. What is the function of vehicle structure - Can you clarify what you are trying to find out. In general, the function of vehicle structure is to keep the device together as a functional unit that can move. I don't think that's what you're trying to get at though.
  4. Classify vehicle structure to sub-structure - Again, without the vehicle in question it is difficult to separate these two. It could be visible structure vs what's "under the hood". It could be above water vs. below deck. It could be the body of the item vs. the electrical innards, etc.

I'm not trying to scold you here. Just trying to help you help us to find what you need. Simply put, define in the clearest terms possible what you are trying to find out. Don't assume we can determine what you mean by a nebulous agglomeration of words. What specifically do you want/need to know? In relation to what? How do you intend to use this information? What specifically are you referring to? What are you hoping to achieve?
