The Fate of Toyota Autos

03/29/2020 4:40 AM

A couple of years back, it has always been stuffs like 'Toyota Recalls' for this and that. This has me wondering like "when would this ever end?" For crying out like, we're close to the future, if not already in the future. Thus, top companies should work towards perfection rather than 'money first'. If Toyota isn't about the money, would they not thoroughly supervise what they build before dispatching them worldwide? Think of it this way. It happens that several times, you'd just go online to find out that "oh, my ride has just been recalled". Doesn't this inform you that you've been endangered right from the first day you owned the wheel? I think the company should review Its engineer-ability and revise some aspects, even if it means hiring another hand. Couple of cars recalled by Toyota and reports often vary like cases of airbags and so on.

Why pick on Toyota, they certainly are not alone in having recalls on their products, in fact it seems like everybody occasionally has a recall...Perfection will never be achieved...The fact that Toyota is one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world and sells these riceburners by the boatload seems to say that others don't agree with your assessment of their quality or desirability....

I would prefer that a car manufacturer acknowledge when an issue is found and fix it rather than try to sweep it under the carpet and pretend that it doesn't exist as some other manufacturers have done......

Aside from bad fuel pumps etc.

They made simple maintenance into a stupid laborious hassle.

If you don't know? Please watch.

This guy is being nice about it by not showing how the paper filter swap goes.

I presume he made a mess of it and the cursing of the design wasn't good for a how to video.

Older Toyota's are better IMO

Try a Mitsubishi Evo, to change a headlight bulb you start by removing the front bumper & the headlamp assembly.

That's outrageous!?

How handy.

It's night. I have a road trip to begin. Ooops.. headlight is out. Either I standa a chance of getting pulled over in every county or worse..

Or take the bumper off.. at a car parts shop before they close.

I'm fortunate to have one of the only 24/7 car parts shops just west of me a few blocks.

And parking lot mechanics with full sets of tools. I haven't used them, but they would do well in a pinch. I know they save a lot of people.

The saddle bag fuel tanks on GM trucks comes to mine...that was huge...very visual. That company came through fine as well.

Sometimes too big to fail can be viewed from an entirely different perspective to get closer to the most accurate.

The answer is ..do a little research on filters, headlights , etc. BEFORE you buy a vehicule. A lot of recalls are for infractions of Government rules which didn't even exist before we gave up our responsibilities to bureaucrats. If you don't like it , don't buy it. If a company has too many recalls buy from someone else.

The problem is that companies that have been excellent for decades have really failed to get better with age. Show me a car company that is actually putting out quality products consistently please.
