USA Made AC Recommendation

07/20/2020 11:22 AM

Hello everyone. Dying up here in Florida this summer, ordered one from Amazon, Heier brand. Thought it's from Germany because of the name, but it's China xD, so it burned out in two weeks. Thought it would be easier to ask someone. Here's the list (I thought about Aprilaire): https://houseweather.org/best-dehumidifier-for-basement/

Let me know if you have one from those models

Perhaps Haier in lieu of Heier?

Haier is a Chinese multinational company, not German.

Are you looking for an honest to goodness Made in the USA appliance? Lots of luck with that. Haier has an ownership position in General Electric (among many other brand names).

I didn't check your link - this sort of looks like a spam post. Are you looking for an air conditioner or a dehumidifier?

Sounds like you need an A/C more than a dehumidifier....a dehumidifier adds heat to the space...but I'm thinking this is a sneaky spam bot...
