11/08/2007 9:18 AM

hi there

but i have no idea how to do that
i am using fed pic c ide and i a have been trying to simulate talking to
an i2c device using the external devices that the pic c ide provides
but it does not work.
it give me messages like "clock too short" and if i increase the time
too some numbers appear on the device which is not the data i want to

Go to Dallas Semiconductor and read up on the I2C protocol, then capture your clock/data stream on a scope, and you should be able to see what's wrong with it. I've done a number of I2C interfaces - they're not difficult, but you have to understand what you're doing.
