	Hi What are the major things to be considered while designing 50Hz & 400Hz Electromagnet for the same operating voltage .. What are the factors /terms which will cause major problems for the above design ? Regards V.Subramanian

	Well, the impedance will vary with frequency. The impedance will affect the current. The current will affect the magnetic field strength. The magnetic field strength will affect the pull. The pull will affect its usefulness. Best thing is to start from the use and work backwards. __________________ Innuendo is not Italian for a suppository.
