To both Norsemanu and Mutantone: I have a dear friend, a Yale PhD, who has had Parkinsons to a rather severe extent. He recently went into have a deep brain probe for at least a partial cure.... I believe Wake Forest University Hospital. During the procedure, his brain hemorrhaged, and he's essentially a vegetable now. Sad, sad story.

so sorry to hear about your friend, I know how scary brain surgery of any sort might be having had mine done in 2004, I can no longer work at my chosen profession because of it.
