Tell me clearly.

Do you want to build a apf circuit or just use capacitor as compensator?

the circuit you can use 3875 or 3895 of unitrode co.. 1kw, single phase. I can offer you the cirvuit. adn adjust processing.

sorry I type wrong type of chip, it should be uc3854.

3875 is a phase shift controller.

You wrote: Engineering final project?

Shouldn't you at this point be able to design one yourself? if you can't, suggest you change school and start all over again.

Amen to that!

He must be a Management student, not an Engineering student because it appears he's learning how to get other suckers to do his work for him.

First we should know what is your basic line . If you are an electrical engineering student doing this project for your final year study I can help you if your college is Engineering college in India. Automatic power factor correction depends on many factors. These things can be understood only if you are an electrical student knowing the fundamentals. So if you want help come out with your details.Regards.
